Our Toronto Summer Camp Goes Beyond the Blueprint to Create a Maker Space Like No Other

Hosted at the University of Toronto’s JICS Summer Lab Camp, this Maker Space turns everyday materials, found objects, and high-tech tools into unique creations.

Each day brings new challenges and opportunities for campers to test ideas, problem-solve, and explore different principles of engineering, design, and technology. Whether they're building functional prototypes, designing artistic installations, or tackling creative challenges, campers take an active role in shaping their projects.

Unlike traditional maker spaces with step-by-step projects, the Maker Space Summer Lab is all about exploration, discovery, and collaborative problem-solving.
